August 20, 2011 one of my best friends, Cassy got married!!!
I met Jason (or Heff) about 4 years ago through a mutual friend. He’s a financial planner and a few years back I helped him out for about a month while he was in between assistants.
I met Cassy about 3 years ago when she started working at the gym. We quickly became friends.
I think that all my friends should meet and become friends. As with anyone else, I introduced Cassy & Jason one night while we were all out at Power & Light. I had gone out with the guys and met up with Cassy. The two met a few other times when I was with one and ran into the other. One night while we were out and Cassy was in massage therapy school we were talking about how she needed people to practice on. I suggested Jason. I wasn’t thinking anything more into it. Long story short, they started hanging out and a romance started. After about 2 years together, Jason proposed AND bought her a dog – Odie!
I was honored to be asked to be Cassy’s Maid-of-honor!!
The wedding was beautiful! They got married at a cute little church in Baldwin, Kansas close to the Baker University Campus. Jason’s grandparents, parents & sister had all been married in this same church.
The wedding was amazing & I am so happy for my friend! They are currently on a 2+ week honeymoon in Italy! I am watching Odie and he’s having a fabulous time with his bffs – my girls! I can’t wait til they return and I can hear all about their amazing trip!
