Growing up my mom went to the Market in the Loop almost every weekend. She’d get fresh fruits & veggies for the week. I use to love going with her and helping pick out our purchases.
Surprisingly, until this past weekend, I had never been to a farmer’s market in Kansas City! Can you believe it?!
Saturday Cassy, Megan & I went to the Overland Park Farmer’s Market
There were a bunch of smaller booths selling honey, fruits, vegetables & plants.
I got a few honey sticks to add to my iced tea.
The Overland Park Farmer’s Market is located at 7950 Marty Street.
The market is open Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 14 through Oct. 27 and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6 through Sept. 26.
